Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Heat:🔥🔥🔥 Going in on a brand new variation of @Cholulahotsauce, they're trying to turn up the HEAT but do they maintain the flavour? Here's what I thought of their sweet habanero number.
_ 👁 Cholula do a good label. I like the religious vibe they're going for, it makes the sauce look classic, like it's been around for centuries. My beef here is that this label is almost exactly the same as the others, apart from changing the words at the bottom. I mean that's a little lazy right? They could have at least changed the colour or SOMETHING. _ 👅 Luckily it tastes good. They're not reinventing the wheel by any means, sweet and spicy are just meant to be together but what I didn't expect was the fact that despite the obvious differences they've still managed to maintain that classic cholula taste, which is a big challenge when dealing with so many new ingredients. This is both familiar and new all at the same time. It's not as spicy as the bottle boasts but you'd expect that from a commercial sauce. _ 👫 I just went straight in and covered my pizza in this. Didn't regret it at all. Also consider pairing with king prawns. That spicy sweetness would go amazingly with sea food. _ 🍕 Cholula isn't really made for dipping but they have designed the bottle to deliver a seamless pouring experience. I love those little bottles.
