Galbanero Chipotle Hot Sauce

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heat:🔥🔥🔥 Exciting! My second ever 5 star review. This one goes to @hotgalbanero. A craft habanero based hot sauce, I don't know much about it's creator as it looks rather new and the site isn't up yet... but they certainly know what they're doing!

👁 The design is minimalist which is rare as hot sauces generally like to go bold to reflect the heat. I really like it, particularly the silk texture, it feels classy and contrasts with the also silky black seal across the top. I think the logo could use a tiny bit of work though, not sure it's striking enough as at a distance can just look like a squiggle. I also love the colour of the sauce, the orange suggests real onion and all the good bits going in then getting blitzed.

👅 Wow. I'm in love with this sauce, this is what I was trying to make when I did Smokey Dragon batch #1, they've nailed the heat. It starts really savoury but not too salty, you can taste the onion subtly which is nice and tell this is all natural. The Chipotle chillis have been marinated in adobo which is genius, you really taste it and it adds a complexity of flavour, mellowing the chillis whilst enhancing the Smokey flavour. The heat then comes like a wave across the tongue, pleasant but not overpowering and slowly builds to a climactic crescendo.

👬 Because this is medium heat it's good for everything in my mind. I road tested with pizza which was amazing, however burgers, dogs, wraps, a roast dinner. Chuck it on do yourself a favour.

🍕 Perfect dipping consistency. This is a real challenge with hot sauces due to the high liquid content (vinegar) needed in order to preserve them but this sauce succeeds. I imagine the large amounts of peppers and real ingredients contributed to it being thicker after they blitzed it.
