_ 👁 It's attractive. Pretty standard 150ml bottle, nice label design but quite minimalistic. The sauce itself is a nice bright red and looks to be very smooth. _ 👃 Was expecting to be hit with garlic but it's not giving away much - can definitely smell smokiness. It smells like it should be a darker colour than it is if that makes sense? Almost expecting a barbecue sauce. _ 👅 Not what I expected. It's definitely smoky. Only getting garlic for a split second before the vinegar takes over, then it's all smoky & salty and a tiny bit vegetal. Unfortunately this isn't for my palate. I wish it was a little brighter and less salty. I find the intense smokiness a little unpleasant after prolonged tasting. In terms of heat this is extremely mild and I can hardly detect any spice at all. _ 👭 I'd use this instead of barbecue sauce to give a smoky flavour to burgers or halloumi fries. _ 🍕 It's pretty optimal consistency - slightly on the thin side but lovely and smooth so a great dip. _ Review written by Jen.
