Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heat:🔥🔥🔥 7 of 10 posts in collaboration with @hot_sauce_society, London's FIRST hot sauce festival! Coming this April 13th a host of hot sauce producers (including myself) will be gathering in Copeland Park, Peckham for a day celebrating the iconic condiment. I'm going to be reviewing 10 of them, 1 per day, ahead of it and now we enter another ladies' kitchen @vickkitch and sample another lovely sauce.
_ 👁 This is pretty. A lovely modern and minimal design that appears clean and fresh. Other than the colour of the print really complimenting the sauce, probably my favourite feature is the little temper evident sticker at the top. It's subtle but being made to look like a ribbon just finishes it all off. _ 👃 It has a really immediate and potent smell. It's sharp and sweet with spicy hints of the ginger, curry and mustard. A real treat. Let's see how it tastes! _ 👅 I love this. It has a lovely fresh flavour that bleeds into a delicate mix of spices and a citrus-like after taste. The heat is immediate but not uncomfortable and serves to excite all of the other flavours. Finally you're left with an almost sweet after taste to round it off, a lot of effort has gone into making this exciting and for me it's worked. _ 👫 This would go REALLY well with wings. Or for the vegans out there a seitan wrap with all the trimmings. Finally if you only want a starter maybe sprinkle on top of some nachos to add a little extra zing. _ 🍕 It's a tiny bit thin for optimum dipping but that's just hot sauce, this is how thick it's supposed to be and I'm ok with that.
